Ulysses group showcase this term's projects

Posted on: 22/01/2018
On Monday 22nd January, an event was held in Cockcroft Hall to showcase the Term 1 projects from the Year 7, 9 and 11 students in the Ulysses group.

The Year 7 Ulysses students had each devised a creative project having used a stimulus related to litter and the ocean. Many interpretations were taken to illustrate this, including PowerPoints, textiles, art, poems and even a play.

On the other hand, the students of Years 9 and 11 created academic posters on subjects of their choice, ranging from volcanoes to anime to neurology.

It was fantastic to see so much fascinating work and independent research across all of the year groups. It was a tough job, but two winners have finally been selected from each year group.  Thanks to all members of the group for their enthusiasm and hard work!

Winners:
Yr 7 -  Summer Hawkins and Shantal Mbaziira
Yr 9 - Swarnim Gurung and Emily Smith
Yr 10 - Ana and Maia Arama (joint poster) and Georgia Evans
