Dr Joe inspires Year 11s!

Posted on: 09/02/2018

On Friday 2nd February, a small group of Year 11 students were visited by a Dr Joe Organ from Brasenose College, Oxford, to talk about options for University. We were challenged from the beginning by being asked what we knew about university life. For example, we were asked if we knew any differences between secondary school and university life, and ended up having a rather interesting conversation about college breakfasts! After this we were shown a presentation about the Russell Group universities, including Oxbridge. From the very beginning of the meeting we were eager to find out more about university. We asked lots of questions about a myriad of topics from how the content of courses differs from university to university, to how you pay for your university education. It was an eye-opening meeting. As we left, we felt enthused and confident about our futures. We are very excited about working with Brasenose College in the coming months.
