Year 10 students take part in screen-printing workshopPosted on: 17/07/2017
On Thursday 13th July, 8 year 10 students took part in a screen-printing workshop with visiting print-maker Karen, who is a parent and local business woman. Karen produces contemporary home wares and accessories through her own business-Mrs B designs Ltd and sells her beautiful goods locally, at craft fairs, and through independent shops. The students designed and printed their very own designs and printed onto heavyweight paper and T Shirts, and had a blast learning this new skill!
This workshop would not have been possible without the funding from GADFAS (Goring Decorative and Fine Arts Society). Irene from the society approached us some time ago, offering us the chance to bid for funding and, thankfully, we were successful! The students are very grateful for this opportunity and have thoroughly enjoyed this unique experience. Thank you to Karen and to GADFAS!
