Today, we had the exciting task of welcoming last year's Year 11 back to receive their long-awaited exam results. 

By 9am, students, parents and staff were desperate to find out and the atmosphere was buzzing with nervous tension. As the envelopes were torn open, however, it became clear that students had little reason to worry as results this year were the best ever and they have really done themselves proud!

It was brilliant to see the hundreds of smiling faces, the hugs, the tears of joy and the excited phone calls to parents that followed.

Results day is one of the great privileges of being a teacher and I know I speak for all staff when I say how proud we are of these students and how well-deserved their success is.
