Well done to all students in Didcot Sixth Form who today celebrated some really strong examination results.

Cockcroft Hall was abuzz with excitement as students arrived at 8.30am to open their envelopes and discover that all of their hard work over the least two years has really paid off.

The vast majority of students achieved the grades they needed to progress onto the next stage in their education, training or working life. We are all very proud of them for giving so much effort and showing great commitment for two years, and we are delighted that so many bright futures were confirmed today.

Headlines include:

• 20% of all entries gained A*-A grades

• 51% of all entries gained A*-B grades

• 82% of all entries gained A*-C grades

• 97% of all entries gained A*-E grade
