Sherwood Gallery has been brought to life this term by a display of hundreds of wonderful Christmas card designs. Students have been learning about composition and pattern making through the design process, and the outcome has been very fruitful. Some students have created images of festive fireplaces while others have created repeat patterns and festive scenes. This joyful display is all thanks to Tracey, our wonderful technician, who has also been busy creating gingerbread houses for our students to enjoy when they visit the gallery. 

 

We have selected two designs to be printed as our official DGS Christmas card, so it's a big well done to year 8 students, Maymady and Isla. Their designs will be sent out to our friends within the community, and beyond. What an achievement!
