Didcot Girls' School is an Ofsted outstanding 11-18 girls' comprehensive school with academy status with approximately 1350 students on roll. We operate a highly successful mixed Sixth Form of 300 students in partnership with St Birinus, the boys’ school in the town.
In September 2015, St Birinus joined Didcot Girls' School in the Ridgeway Education Trust which is now the employer for all staff at both schools. This enables deep collaboration between the two schools, creating additional opportunities for staff to lead and teach across both sites.
Sutton Courtenay Church of England Primary School joined the MAT on 1 April 2019, giving us the potential for further collaboration and the opportunity to build an exceptional, coherent education from nursery up to, and including, sixth form.
Didcot Girls' School was selected as a national Teaching School in June 2017 and the Didcot Girls' School Teaching School Alliance creates exciting professional development opportunities for our staff to lead and raise standards across schools.
