Future of Didcot
Didcot is constantly improving and growing. Recently there have been a lot of changes going on. Firstly, a new supermarket, Sainsbury's, has been built.
Didcot has currently built a new shopping centre, named The Orchard Centre. The new shopping centre will provide many more places to shop. (Popular shops such as New Look and Specsavers, and a cinema plan to be included).
It should be open to public relatively soon.
The site is set in the heart of Didcot and will use 18 acres, Broadway (the main road in Didcot) will be to the south, the railway line to the north and Station Road to the west.
It will be able to hold around 30 shops to meet the requirements of Didcot's community.
