Summer 2019 GCSE results were superb with 83% of all students achieving 4+ in English and Maths, and 64% doing the same at 5+. Our Attainment 8 figure was significantly above national average at 54.3 and our provisional Progress 8 of +0.71 places us the top 3% of schools nationally. Results at A level in the mixed sixth form shared with our partner school, St Birinus School, are also extremely strong.
We are looking for a Higher level teaching assistant with a specific focus on Literacy to join our experienced and dynamic Learning Support Team. The successful applicant will be someone who works well in a team, can prioritise and is able to work flexibly with colleagues to support students. Good communication skills are essential. Commitment to the core values of the school and to the importance of your own professional development are essential.

Responsible to: SENDCo
Remuneration: Grade 6 Pro-rata salary for this role is: £14,433.38-15,936.37. The post holder also has access to the local government pension scheme.
Contract: This is a term time only role. It must be performed in accordance with the provisions of the terms and conditions of employment of the Ridgeway Education Trust Multi-Academy Trust
- 8:30am-3:15pm Monday to Thursday
- 8:30am-2:15pm Fridays
This equates to a working week of 31 hours and 5 minutes, term time only.
Hours could be negotiable for the right candidate.
