FGM

Gemale Genital Mutilation (FGM) is when a female's genital organs are cut or injured for no-medical reasons. It is a practice that is undertaken in over 30 countries but is now occuring in the UK due to migration.

It is estimated that there are 60,000 young girls with mothers who have undergone this procedure in the UK, with 20,000 under 15's at risk of FGM.
