On Friday, we were thrilled to welcome Elle McNicoll back to DGS for another fantastic talk. Elle is the award-winning author of 'A Kind of Spark', which some of our Year 8 tutor groups are currently reading as part of the Reading Aloud scheme.

As a neurodivergent author and a powerful advocate for neurodivergent representation in books, Elle delivered an inspiring and thought provoking session that our students absolutely loved.

At lunchtime, students from all year groups enjoyed a book sale and signing in the library, with plenty of excitement around meeting the author and getting books signed.
