We are extremely proud of all of our students this year

Today we congratulate our Year 11 students as they receive their GCSE and BTEC results. These are excellent results and we are so pleased that this resilient and hard-working cohort of students have been awarded results which allow them to progress to their sixth form, college or training course of choice.
We are delighted that 87% of our 259 Year 11 students achieved a Grade 4 and above in English and Maths, and 68% achieved Grade 5 or above in both.
81% of students gained 5 GCSE passes including English and Maths (9-4) and 66% of students gained 5 GCSE passes including English and Maths (9-5).
93% of students achieved Grade 4 and above in English and 88% achieved Grade 4 and above in Maths. At Grade 5 and above, 85% were successful in English and 70% in Maths.
Results at the highest levels are excellent across all subjects with 43% of all grades at 7-9 and 26% at grades 8 or 9. 47 students achieved 6 or more grades 8 or 9.
In summary, for the 259 students:
- 81% of students gained 5 GCSE passes including English and Maths (9-4)
- 66% of students gained 5 GCSE passes including English and Maths (9-5)
- 93% of students gained a grade 4 or above in English
- 85% of students gained a grade 5 or above in English
- 47% of students gained a grade 7 or above in English
- 88% of students gained a grade 4 or above in Maths
- 70% of students gained a grade 5 or above in Maths
- 36% of students gained a grade 7 or above in Maths
- 43% of all entries were graded 9-7
-39% of students gained 5 or more grades 9-7
- 97% of students gained 5 GCSE passes (9-1)
- Overall attainment 8 figure: 58.67
As a school community, we celebrate the achievements of all our students but there are some exceptional individual performances that deserve special mention.
