Last week, Year 10 Citizenship students enjoyed a memorable day visiting the Houses of Parliament in London, where MPs work and the Laws of our Country are made. We had a wonderful trip and got to see the House of Lords and House of Commons where so many famous Monarchs (past Kings and Queens of Britain) and Prime Ministers have given historic and sometimes dramatic speeches. Our students were great ambassadors for the school, getting involved in our tour and workshop, asking lots of great questions and displaying some impressive knowledge of Democracy and Government.
