#breakthebias

At DGS we are very excited to mark International Women’s Day, as we do every year! We have planned:

· An assembly delivered by Associate Head Girl, Chloe Cormack.

· A competition open to all students inviting them to create a riddle based on a woman they admire.

· The Ulysses group are spending time in the library creating profiles on female authors.

· Our annual student leadership conference with a range of guest speakers.

· A display in the library of books written by and about inspirational women.

· A range of activities on Satchel One.

This year the theme is #break the bias and we look forward to lots of exciting conversations about ensuring an equal future for all! It’s also a great time to talk about the women we respect and admire.
