At the end of last week, around 100 Year 9 students enjoyed a day in glorious sunshine on their expedition practice walk in preparation for their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition. Students spent the morning learning map-reading skills from our DofE leaders, before being left to use their navigation skills to complete the route in the afternoon unaccompanied by staff. Despite some of the groups getting a bit lost, the students had a successful day and we are confident they will excel on their expedition next month.
