Thirteen curious Senior Science Club members travelled to Radley College on January 30th to find out more about cutting edge science across a wide variety of scientific disciplines. The students joined with students from Radley College, St Birinus School and Desborough School to hear directly from leading doctors, scientists and engineers about advances in their respective fields.

The girls took part in talks and workshops on diverse topics such as new cancer treatments, personalised medicine, volcanoes and politics, cutting edge neuroscience, commercial applications of scientific discoveries and electron microscopes. It was an immense privilege to hear from so many different experts and the girls made the most of the opportunity by engaging with all the activities and asking thoughtful questions to develop their understanding.
